Selecting a station

The initial overview explained how con-

venient it is to store and call up TV sta-

tion data automatically (see page 23).

This detailed description also refers to

menu-guided operation, with which you

are now assumed to be familiar.

The following operating instructions

apply after the TV menu has been called

up.

Perform all inputs while the vehi-

cle is stationary. The car's occu-

pants and other road users could other-

wise be put at risk.c

Choosing from all stations that

can be received

1 Select "Search"; the screen will dis-

play for example

(CH followed by channel number)

2 Turn to start station search.

Station search is halted when a station

with a sufficiently strong signal is lo-

cated on a reception channel.

If this station has already been stored,

the preset number is shown at the bot-

tom left of the screen; otherwise you

will be invited to store the station.

If reception quality deteriorates, a

search procedure starts automatically.

If the word "MUTE" appears on screen,

this indicates that TV sound has been

switched off ("muted") to prevent dis-

torted sound reproduction from being

heard in the car.

Selecting a specific station

If you wish to call up a specific station

that has already been stored:

1 Select "Programme".

2 Turn to select the desired station.
